Just got my first blackberry - recommendations please!
Ok so I just upgraded to a Blackberry Curve. I tried to install the Facebook app, but it tells me that my phone doesn't meet the minimum requirements to run it. Any help?
And also - can you recommend any apps that would be good to install? I've heard of the website www.crackberry.com but I'm kinda lost on it, lol. Would really appreciate any and all help!!! 
ETA: Figured out how to install Opera Mini.

i have the facebook app and use it all the time! try it again 
download google maps - it has a GPS feature and can give you directions from WHERE YOU'RE STANDING!
i downloaded from weather.com - i use that all the time

I downloaded the Superpages app. It is good if you need to know where a store or something is while on the go.

LOVE Pandora. I also downloaded a flashlight application. It turns the screen to bright white until you turn it off. I've used it many times.

I tried like 5 times to get the FB app - I'll try again!
I have Sprint and my BB Curve came with Sprint Navigation which is GPS - it has pedestrian routes option too... but I'll look into the google maps! Thanks!

What is Pandora? What would I use it for?
I saw the flashlight app on crackberry.com - thanks for the review, sounds useful!!!

Pandora is a music site. You can play music through the speaker on your phone. It eats up the battery a little, but if it is plugged in, no issue. You can check it out on your PC first if you like.
The site itself is pretty cool. You can enter in an artist or genre and it plays similar music to what you picked. It has a savelist so you don't have to type it in each time. My PC and blackberry are linked through my email address. I use it when I am gardening a lot. When I was driving down to Maryland, I used it with a seperate converter to play over the speakers in a car so it was commercial (and country music  ) free.

I downloaded Opera Mini which I had heard on here was a great browser. Just go to www.mini.opera.com on your blackberry browser and download the program. THen you can use that to go online and I was able to post on here. It's a bit annoying, but I guess if I'm out and about and want to get on here, I now have the option!

Do you know that DH and I were sitting on opposite sides of our sofa last night using BBM to talk to each other?!?! We thought it was hilarious (we make fun of couples we see at restaurants who are both on their BB's and say "they're probably talking to each other" lol so we had to "recreate" the scene).
