Just left the hospital...but no baby.
I was having intense shooting pains this morning and since I am a FTM, I wasn't sure if this was it. My due date was yesterday so I didn't think it was so impossible. Well, I got to L&D and my doctor was already there with another patient which was perfect. They hooked me up to the monitors and my contractions were only 9 minutes apart and I'm still 1-2 centimeters and 50%. Apparently, she's in no rush and the pains are her head resting on a nerve near my bladder. Every time she moves, it feels like the shooting pain you get after urinating with a bladder infection, but more constant. So painful.
Anyway, looks like I'm still waiting for  to make her debut. Oh and on the way out, DH and I looked at the tiny newborns in the nursery and that got me SOOO excited!! One of those little plastic boxes is going to have my DD in it very soon!

Do you think he will induce you on Friday?
He doesn't know yet. My guess is no because I have no progress, but he's leaving for vaca on Sunday. Looks like the other docs will have to induce me if I don't go on my own.
