My DH's aunt has not been well for awhile. She has been suffering with dementia and was recently placed in a nursing home. The hardest part is that this is my MIL's sister but she is in Scotland & my MIL is here.
Well my MIL called today to tell us that they are taking Aunt Margaret off of 'life support' as she called it....she said it is like a drip and that they say it is inevidible that she won't last much longer.
I only met her several times when she'd come to visit including when she was sweet enough to fly over for our wedding.
I remember her sitting with my step-dad (who passed Dec 06) and talking so much about Scotland to him since he was from there.
