Just some random questions...

1. I have somethings that I bought for Noah when he was born that I never used, they have tags on them, they are all brand new and when I bought them I loved them, but I just had so much stuff that I never used them. So my question is this: Is it really tacky if I give them as gifts? I know 2 people who have had baby boys over the last 2/3 weeks.

2. I have been weaning Noah on to cows milk, but somehow seem hesitant to give up the formula completely. I have a few bottles of the formula left and I just think, well it has so many vitamins and minerals and crap that I am a bit nervous to give it up. Talk me down. I used to give him 3 bottles of formula a day, how many should I give him now of the cows milk???

3. My friend Liz is giving her Nancy cows milk too, but what she does is she gives her half cows milk and half boiling water, therefore making (a somewhat weak) nutritious drink for her daughter, she gets to drink lots, but its not too much milk throughout the whole day. Does this sound like a good idea, or a bad idea??? It does sound strange, but somehow it makes sense.

4. I think thats it for now. Oh I remember now. I got a kitchenaid mixer for Christmas from my husband...I have sent him out to drink beers and talk bolloks with his mates, he said I can open it. I want to open it. I want to have a look at it and read the book...I want to use it to make something tomorrow...what should I do???

He is not a year yet, right? I would leave him on formula until a year before you give him only cow's milk. He needs the nutrition now, and we just changed Katie totally to cows milk and are having a hard time. Keep giving him formula until he is a year. I give her milk whenever she asks for a baba, but the ped said she should be drinking 10-20 oz a day at a year. She is drinking way more then that because she hasn't figured out it is not a meal yet.

I don't understand why you would cut the milk with water so I can't answer that.

2&3.... Jack's only 3 months so I have no idea, sorry.

4....absolutely.....and I'm sooooo jealous!!! I made 10 different kinds of cookies in the past 2 days and mixed them all by hand.

2) As far as milk goes, I may not be the best person to answer this but Jacob has been on cow's milk since 9 months. Vitamins Shmitamins if you ask me, I think he gets plenty of vitamins from a)the milk itself, b) all the fruits and veggies he eats thruout the day and c) the poly vi flor vitamin supplement he gets daily. If it were me, I would give those last bottles of formula away to a friend that has an infant, thats what i did. And not to sound selfish or neglectful in any way but giving up the formula at 9 months was a huge savings $$$$ for me, so i was totally all for it. Although every ped is different in their opinion, mine happens to be an excellent Dr so i trust him.

3) No i wouldnt water down the milk. I dont know why she is doing that?

4) Yes OPEN IT FOR GOD'S SAKE!!.... GEEZ DO WE HAVE TO TEACH YOU JEWISH GIRLS EVERYTHING !!!
