Just want to say thank you...
for all of your good thoughts.
The baby has a little extra water on the brain. Most babies have a size of about 10 mm. Mine has between 11-13 mm.
So to give dh and I some piece of mind, I had an amino done yesterday. In addition to that I had a fetal echiogram done. Thank goodness the fetal echiogram came out normal.
Just have to wait for the amino.
Next week I am going for a fetal mri of the brain.
Technology is so freaking scary.
Dh and I did not want to find out the sex, but with all that has been going on.... we decided to find out. And it's a
GIRL!! I had an instinct all along that it was a girl.
Geez. She is already causing me to have sleepless nites.

I am so happy for you!!! I thought about you all night and how upsetting this is for you and DH.
I am so happy the tests came back normal- now you can concentrate on things like buying cute baby clothes....

First...CONGRATS!!!! A little girl to pamper and spoil....it's going to be so wonderful! And I am so happy to hear that the testing has all come back normal. I will continue to keep you and your little in my thoughts and prayers!

That was my guess for you.
Please, please , please know that I've known over a dozen people that were told the most horrible possible diagnosis due to false positives on tests. They spent weeks or months dealing with unbelievable stress only to give birth to completely healthy babies.
I'm not just telling you this to make you feel better. It is the absolute truth and I hope it's the same for you.
Some of these tests are so sensitive that they read false positives and OMG the panic that they can create.
For example, my own cousin, and his wife, were told their first born had spina bifida, hole in the heart, brain malformation and at least three other things. BTW: her father at the time was head of psychiatry at Bellevue and she had the BEST of medical care available through doctors at NYU and Yale. She didn't want to go through with the pregnancy, he is very religious and disagreed. It nearly ended their marriage. They recovered and she gave birth to a completely healthy/normal baby girl, Kaleigh who is now 12 years old and is taking on the world
I pray that this is just a big false positive and you will get good news confirmed from the amnio
