Just wanted to give you ladies some inspiration and hope!

I am 9 days away from my scheduled c-section and I wanted to send you ladies some good thoughts and hope.

This time last year, I was on my fourth TTC cycle, getting increasingly frustrated. I was temping and noticed a really good pattern. I was excited, because I had a possible chemical the month before (could have been a fluke with the test). I was on IV meds for my rheumatoid arthritis which were supposed to be safe for TTC. I was going to test a year ago today. Here is what happened.

I had my second infusion of medication the night before and I wasn't feeling great. They didn't stop the infusion. I woke up at about 2 am in excruciating pain, barely able to move my arms or legs. I managed to get to the bathroom, and my month was ruined-AF arrived, possibly triggered by the horrible allergic reaction I had-I was delirious with a 104 fever. I wound up hospitalized for 3 days and when I started feeling a little better, I just sat and cried. Another failed month. Another chance lost for a baby. TTC wasn't supposed to be this hard, this miserable. DH was getting annoyed with the process, as it sucked the romance out of our relationship. I wanted a baby so bad. I was hospitalized, not for a good reason, like to have a baby, but because my body once again failed me. I was seriously depressed, had difficulty functioning, cried myself to sleep. DH was great, as were the lasting friends I made starting on this very board.

Fast forward to the end of June-another missed AF. I had an anovulatory cycle the last, so I was bummed, thinking there was a problem with me. Why wouldn't there be? Nothing was ever easy, my RA was out of control. I was fortunate to be speaking with Dr. Braverman, a fabulous RE mentioned here all of the time. I tested the day AF was due-BFN. I gave up. That month, I didn't track temp, I had no clue when or if I O'ed. Two days later, I noticed I still didn't have AF and just felt off. I tested despite DH's objections-he didn't want me to be sad. Well, guess what-BFP!

I am going to be a mother to a wonderful little girl in 9 days and I cannot wait for the end to what has been a 18 month journey.

The point to my story-don't lose hope, don't give up faith. If you think there is a problem, be proactive and seek help. There is no shame in doing that. What works for one doesn't work for others. A year ago today, I was in the hospital, barely conscious, horribly ill, another month without a BFP. Today, I am days away from meeting my little lady!

Such a nice story to read. You must be so excited to finally almost have your little girl. Thanks for the inspiration and good luck on your delivery
