Just wanted to share a heart warming story (awesome update)
I have not posted here in a while but wanted to post this bc people are truly amazing. Here is some back-story, my cousin Kevin had leukemia. He got it when we was about 13 and had beaten it in April 2010. Well this month, he has relapsed and has begun his fight again against leukemia. He is now 18. Anyway he is such a fighter and is known around town and school as the “the real superman”. Well with prom only a few weeks away, his sister has started a event on Tuesday night saying Taylor Swift take Kevin Mcguire to prom? Well in a little over 24 hours, the fb page has over 38,000 people, and articles are already popping up / or being talked about on local radio stations, fox news, abc news, taste of country, dosomething.org, huffingtonpost, and has been tweeted by Teresa guidice and emmit smith.
It is just a nice reminded to see how many good-hearted people are out there.
ETA: this is truely amazing to myself and family. His story is now being tweeted by Travie Mccoy, Albie Manzo, Melissa Gorga and Brittany Gastineau.
UPDATE: she is unable to go to prom with him, but as asked him to be her date at the ACM awards.

What a great story to hear on here, in light of all the drama lately ;).
In any event, I just shared on my Twitter.
I have at least a hundred, if not more, social workers on there who could help spread the word.
