Thank you girls. My DH says leave it be but having been a victim of 2 crimes in my life it has been bothering me. I am going to try and go down to the precinict tomorrow before he leaves for work. If I can't get out of the house then I will call my best friend and have her brother who is in the precinict call me. I don't want to call 911 over something like this and waste an officer on a real emergency.
Thank you all for advice. I just needed the push that I was right.

I am sure glad you are going to make that call.
You never know if there is an "unsolved" crime out there that you could be helping a family that is hurting.
You hurt nobody by trying, but could help many with your information.

I know that I won't be able to sleep tonight if I waited until morning so I called the Homicide Division and spoke to a detective. He said it was probably all a coincidence. I gave him all the numbers I could pull off of my cellphone, told him about the Haze and Hazy thing, he said well you know an arrest has been made in the case. I said yes, I am aware of that and didn't put the connection together until I read about the arrest in the paper. He said it's probably nothing but would forward it to the detective that handled the case.
I feel better that I did something.
