I wanted to donate but Mercy doesn't offer it. For the next I will be going to Winthrop. I am hoping they let me donate.

I did. With my dd I guess there wasn't enough blood b/c they didn't give me any paperwork after the fact. With my son I got a ton of paperwork and a reference number so that if we needed to use it and it was still available they could find it easily for us.

I donated my 2nd DD's at LIJ. Would have done #1's as well, but donation wasn't available at LIJ at that time.

We did! It wasn't something I knew before but you receive a file # for the blood and should you ever need the blood, you can use your own donated blood.

I did. My hospital didn't do it, but I found a bank in NJ that would come to my hospital, so I donated it.
