TMZ just revealed that the insurance he had on the shows gave him an out for illness. IF he wasn't "sick" he would be on the hook for more than 30 million......
could this all be a scam to get the insurance to cover his cancelled tour.

He definitely seems to me like he could have bipolar disorder or another mental illness. If he doesn't exhibit delusions of grandeur, I don't know who does.

Good luck with that one, Kanye. Foo Fighters had to sue their insurance company after the company refused to pay out after they had to cancel a show due to terrorism. They had terrorism protection and the leaders of France said no concerts permitted but they still wouldn't pay without a lawsuit.
How Kanye could prove this to an insurance company's satisfaction is beyond me.
