Katelyn Grace is here!...........updated with Birth Story :)
Sorry I have not posted sooner, and it might be a while before I can post again, everyhting has been hectic, but we aer doing great. I was induced Thursday 9:30am and she was born at 5:18 - ready for this....8lbs 6oz !!! I couldn't believe it, here are a few pic.s so far, I promise more shortly!

Birth Story,
I was to be induced on Thursday 9/14 at 8:30, however the Dr. arrived at 9:30 and we started the pitocin (spelling?) at the start of the pitocin I was 2cm dilated - the dr. also broke my water, what a WEIRD feeling. Then at about 1:30 I was in a lot of pain, contractions we:re bad, so the nurse said I could have another drug even before the epidural, I can't remember the name, but I said if I didn't progress at all I will take it, if I am almost at 4cm, I will wait for the epi, I didn't want to take another drug if un-necessary, so she checked me and I was 3.5 cm, so we started the epi and everything was wonderful
 I was checked again at about 3:30 and the dr. said I was 10cm, lets start pushing, then the cervix was still covering the babies head a little, so they wanted to wait so at about 4:15 I started to push....and I wasn't pushing correctly, so they turned off the epidural so I could feel what was happening and so I pushed for 1 hour and she was born. I never knew the epi was to be shut off, but the nurse said if I wanted to have the baby quicker than that was the best to do, so I could feel where and when to push. The pushing was VERY straining, I was sweating like a pig and the cold rags helped a lot, I was scared , at one point I didn't know if I could push anymore, and then at the end, I just gave it ALL my might, thought I was going to pass out, but there she came, a big 8lb 6 oz little girl, it was amazing.
The epi wasn't nearly as bad as I thought, the only part that was worse than I thought was the pushing at the very end, it burned and burned and the pressure was unbelievable. My labor & delivery was about a total of 6 hours and I can't imagine the people that do it for 18+ hours, I can't even imagine.
also, I didn't have an epistomy (spelling) but I did tear and I have stitches, they were very sore the first few days, but it is healing more and more each day. OUCH !
I gave birth at St. Charles hospital and the staff was wonderful from checking in to checking out, my labor nurse Laurie was unbeleiveable, so sweet and scalming, she knew how nervous I was throughout this all.
