Katie has a fever of 100.8 and she was exposed to coxsacki
She has a fever of 100.8 and was exposed to coxsacki this past week. She also threw up this morning which is really unusual for her. I gave her tylenol and she slept for 2 hours. I havent seen any sores on her hands and feet but I havent checked her mouth yet.
She is 3 1/2 months old, when should I be concerned about her fever - meaning how high should it be before I call the dr?

I would call once it gets into the 102-103 range. Although since you gave her tylenol already it might stay down --- usually I don't give tylenol for a 100ish fever becuae rectally that's not all THAT much of a fever.
We had dr confirmed coxsackie over here and Emily never developed sores. Her throat was super red and swollen though.
I hope it's not coxsackie but if you have any questions we're just getting over it so it's all fresh in my mind, and please, ask away.

If you can look in her mouth with a flashlight you will be able to see if she has the blisters. Most kids only get them in their mouths. I hope she is okay

I hope she feels better soon!!
My dr had us call when the baby was less than 3 months old and has a rectal temperature of 100.4 degrees and between 3 and 6 months old when the temperature reaches 101 or higher. I would give her some tylenol since she is close to being high. Also try a lukewarm bath.
