Katie Holmes Sends Nicole Kidman Baby Gifts
Katie Holmes is extending an olive branch to her husband’s ex-wife Nicole Kidman by sending her baby gifts, reports Star.
Katie, 29, shipped eight-months-pregnant Nicole, 41, a deluxe gift basket filled with onesies, stuffed toys, a baby blanket and more from Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills.
“Katie wanted the best of everything in the basket,” the insider says. “It cost over $2,000.”

WHY is this a big deal?
I agree it was a nice gesture, but did she have any reason NOT to send the baby a gift? She LIVES with the woman's older children ........I think the RIGHT thing to do was to send something ........

Since Katie does see Nicole's kids, this is really nothing "special". Why are people (aka press media) making it such a big deal? I mean Katie came in Tom's life WAY after Nicole and Tom divorced. The mother of her husband's kids is PG, she sends a present. They may not be friends (why would they?) but they can be cordial even if just because of the kids.
