Keeping DC warm at night
I put DS to bed at night in footed pjs. Well, the temperature dropped so much last night that when I woke to feed and change him his poor little feet and hands were so cold. I felt so terrible. I ended up putting him his sleeper blanket also.
What do you guys dress your DC in and how do you know if they are too cold?

Re: Keeping DC warm at night
If they are complaining and feel cold, they may be too cold. If they are sleeping well, then it wasn't an issue.
I would measure by hands -- your hands would be cold too if left outside the blankets at night.
Put a thermometer in baby's room so you have an idea of what the temperature is and can dress accordingly.
On the coldest nights before she was old enough for blankets I did onesie, footed pjs, sleep sack.

Re: Keeping DC warm at night
Last night we broke out the sleeper blankets. My DS is almost 9 months old and I am so glad he still fits in the 0-9 Month sleepers.
I told DH we are searching BRU today for bigger sizes! Im still terrified to let him sleep with a blanket.

Re: Keeping DC warm at night
my son has always worn a onsie footed pjs and a fleece sleep sack he needs to be cozy to sleep. even in the summer we have central air going so instead of a fleece sleep sack he would wear a cotton sleep sack and even with all of that there are still times when his feet ande legs are cold but im not going to use a blanket any time soon.

Re: Keeping DC warm at night
I put DD in footed pj's and her sleep sack last night. I think that is going to be the norm when it's cooler. It was pretty chilly here last night.

Re: Keeping DC warm at night
i have my DD in onesie with mittens, pjs with footies, socks, and if the pjs arent the fuzzy warm kind, then i put in sleep sac..
sometimes i worry i make her too warm b/c she holds in alot of heat herself.
