great update. Yes, he will be tired doing almost nothing. I remember all of these things with Fred. He had a bad attitude but they thought having me there would help his motivation. Definitely get his son there. It will really help.

WOW great update! I have to say when I was reading I was thinking about Bob Woodrof then I saw you mentioned it. I am still amazed when I see him on TV and all he has overcome!
So glad that Kenneth is getting there! All my thoughts and prayers still heading your way! Keep staying Strong for Kenneth!

Same here.
I know not many can say this but I had the EXACT same experience with my dad when he recovered from his stroke...
My Dad was a master carpenter before I was born... he was all about tools and wood-working. The OT asked him to pick up a hammer (the man must have owned 7) from a group of other object and he couldn't right away, then he did. Then they asked him which object would you use to nail two pieces of wood together... he didn't know 
It's moments like that that you have to muster up every single ounce of strength just to stay standing.
I am so relieved to hear of your brother's progress and it is BIG progress One day at a time

OK im crying. Kenneth is doing GREAT. The interaction you explained with Christopher brings tears to my eyes! I am so glad Christopher is ok going there cause it shows he is really helping Kenneth get better. Kenneth wants to do it for himself and for you guys but most of all Christopher!
The fact that he could show emotion and cry when Christopher left shows he gets it and that he is working so hard to get better!
JUST AMAZING! My continued prayers!

Very teary eyed after reading today's update. I'm so glad he was able to see Christopher. I can't imagine a more motivating factor in his recovery.
How was Christopher seeing his dad?
