Is Friendly's friendly enough? It's about 1 mi east of the Coliseum on Hempstead Tpke (across from Eisenhower Park). There's also Wendys and Burger King there, too.

Yeah, I think Friendly's is too friendly. I am not a huge fan of Wendys or Burger King if other options are available.

There's Borelli's, about 1/2 mi east of NC. It's pretty good and definitely family friendly.

Re: Kid Friendly Restaurant near Nassau Coliseum
Yes Cheesecake is still there and Grand luxe is in the mall drive around.
Tin Pan Alley is like a fridays, ruby tuesdays type place - it has a bar area in one room and a regular seating area in another it used to be a ground round a while back- I always see families there. They have burgers, salads, sandwiches, entrees.

Re: Kid Friendly Restaurant near Nassau Coliseum
I add my vote for Bertucci's or Borelli's, though Borelli's can get a bit manic sometimes. Both have good food and good service.

I should have mentioned that I've been to Bertuccis 2x. I was looking for something different. But you're right, can't go wrong with pizza!

Re: Kid Friendly Restaurant near Nassau Coliseum
Whenever we go to Nassau Coliseum we go to Moe's Southwest Grill first in East Meadow. It's DH's favorite place to eat!
It's noisy and loud and totally kid friendly. They have a kid-menu, DD always gets a cheese quesedilla and a side order of black beans!
