kiddie kandids

Anyone use them? How did you like them? Was it expensive? Comparable to JC Penneys? Picture People (price wise)


I am looking for a new place for Emily's 1st birthday photos.

I'm not a fan of Kiddie Kandids at all. Well, at least the photographers can never get Andrew to smile (and if anyone knows Andrew, all he does is smile for the camera). It's such a waste of our time and they only take 4 pictures in your sitting. Plus, they are super expensive.

I've been to JC Penny's for Andrew's Easter pictures and got 12 wonderful shots! They have coupons for $3.99 portrait sheets and I think that's a great price (our coupon also had no sitting fee, but if there is, its $9.99).

We've also had a photographer come to our house. And these have been by far the best pictures, albeit the most expensive.

I'd do JCPenney's again. We've done KK 2x now, and I won't go back.

We have done kiddie kandids, target, sears and Jcpenny in the sunrise mall

I got the best pics at jcpenny and kiddie kandids

I will NEVER use target again! they were so bad

Kiddie kandids is reasonable and did a good job, jcpenny so far was the best, I heard picture people are expensive but awesome! I may go there for her one year pics

I've used Kiddie Kandids 3 times, and have loved them all but 1. That 1 time they were just WAY understaffed and it was a nut house there.

I have used them twice and i was very happy with them ! I took my son's easter picture there as well as one for mothers day...I thought they came out great...I havent used anyone else so i cant compare price wise..

I like picture people before they changed to digital at least thats me. Had only one bad experience. HATE Sears. Not a fan of JC Penney but not bad pics

I have never used kiddie kandis I have used JCPENNEY and I love them I have also used the Picture People they are expensive but you get your pics back that day and they take so many different pictures I used target once and I liked the pics but they were very crowded and under staffed

I have used kiddie kandids and picture people.

My experience with picture people was that I will NEVER go back.

Kiddie Kandids IS expensive but you get your pictures right away! I don't think you do with jcpenney (correct me if I am wrong) and the times I needed the pictures I wanted them right away (for his christening thank yous)

Yes I think they are comparable..PP offers coupons for free sittings and 20% off - KK has packages you can choose from, I think the cheapest was $90 and they only have coupons for birth - 3-6-9 months and a year. If you didnt get them complain if you go there tell them you never got them and if they ask how old try to round it to the nearest...I dont remember what the coupons were exactly it may have been for freebies and such....I think when I went last time at 6 months I got a free portrait drawing (better than nothing!)
