Kids playing IN the dryers at the laundromat
I was at the laundromat this a.m. and two young children were playing inside the dryers. The one boy would crawl in and the other would close and hold the door while the one inside made the tub go round and round. These are gas dryers so everytime you open the doors you get a whiff of gas. The mother just stood there sorting her laundry not caring at all. After watching them for a few minutes, I said to the mother that letting them play in the dryers is really unsafe, they're not playground equipment, and besides people are throwing clean clothes in these dryers and your kids boots are caked with mud.
She just rolled her eyes at me and muttered something. When I left about 15 minutes later her kids were playing in two separate dryers. I told the attendant as I left and he said "What??Again?!"

What a moron! I always wondered why my clean clothes would be all dirty after drying them at a laundromat

I hope the attendant politley said to the woman and her children "and please don't come back".
I could only imagine what would happen if one of the kids got hurt!

I don't get why the mother would think that is acceptable behavior from her children.
Guess she is just too lazy to entertain them herself. She should have just left them at home.

Exactly what I was thinking! I really hope the attendant does not let them back in the store. For him to say "Again?" obviously it has been going on before. I hope the attendant covers themselves and tells them don't come back.
