Kids telling kids there's no santa at bus stop today!
GRRRR! Major fight at bus stop today from one kid telling the others (grades 2 & 3 only at this bus stop) that there is no such thing as santa claus.
Why can't people who want to tell their kids this tell their kids to keep their mouths shut instead of ruining for all of the rest of us who want to keep mystique for 2nd and 3rd graders alive?!?!?
I would like to do bodily harm to that kid's mother!

I don't know why the parents would get the blame on this one. I wish kids did everything we told them to do.
I get your frustration with the kids though. I've told me kids that some people believe & some people do not believe. Different people believe in different things.

I get your frustration with the kids though. I've told me kids that some people believe & some people do not believe. Different people believe in different things.
She gets the blame because she called my kids' names (witch and a thief) and because she's an all around idiot. if it was someone else's kid, i probably wouldn't even care...

Ugh. I'm sorry
Best advice I can give is to do what my mom did : keep reinforcing that Santa does exist in our hearts and maintain it. Even now, my mom still says there is a Santa! I loved her for it then and even now.

I was just talking to people at work. a co-worker and i both were late believers! we finally had to admit to ourselves (in HS) that there was no Santa.
Yeah, I am one of those... It's SO MUCH FUN!!!

Over the years my son has been told by numerous kids that Santa is not real. I tell him that maybe certain friends don't believe, but that doesn't mean Santa isn't real. He is almost 14 and still believes. I'm not flat out telling him since there is no harm in believing! He is on the autism spectrum, and still immature for his age, but he can believe as long as he wishes to. In fact, he told me that he asked the gym teacher a couple of weeks ago if he believed in Santa, and that gym teacher said SURE DO! Smart gym teacher

Meanwhile, Ive been telling my Jewish dd that there is a santa so it doesnt cause a problem in schools for those who believe and she keeps asking me for her presents... I am actually caving. I bought her a CD and moving fwd.

My dd will TOTALLY slip...OMG...I could see her journal read aloud now... "This weekend we went to the movies, to the park and mommy and daddy told me there is no sant...do you believe it...no santa!!!" There is no way I am touching santa with her so early in the game.

I appreciate those of you who teach your children not to ruin it!
This particular child was yelling it saying "THERE'S NO SANTA! YOUR MOM'S AND DAD'S ARE!!!"
I would appreciate a parent having a bit more tact about the subject. I appreciate you all for doing it...
It's me being robbed, I know that... (Heck how can i say "better be good, Santa's watching LOL!)
My kids have forgotten about it it seems.
