Kind of a paranoid question
I was wondering- how long does it take to get an appointment with an RE?
In my Oxford book there are a lot of them- but I was wondering- do you have to wait many months to get an appointment?
I'm a little concerned about my luteal phase- its 11 days (it came at 11:30pm) so I was counting it at 12 but that's kind of cheating Also, AF lasts about 7-8 days- thats with 2-3 days of spotting at the end. Those could be signs of an lp problem or they could be normal for me. I'm going to TTC for 3 months and see what happens, but do you have to wait a really long time to get an appointment? With some specialists its like three month!

No there is not a long wait. Rsofny, will see you immediately and even Cornell, I am only waiting till Jan 6. Cornell has the second highest success rates in the nation, and there isn't even much of a wait there.
We are very very fortunate, we live in NY, and have probably the majority of REs in this nation working here :)

Hey Ariella how is the new job going??? We need another GTG, I didn't get to speak with you much at the last one..
I called hte RE about 2 weeks ago, and my apt. is for next week. So 3 weeks I had to wait -- which seems like an eternity when you are 39!!

Re: Kind of a paranoid question
Thanks ladies so much for the info! I feel better!
I'm a nervous nelly so, of course, I'm anticipating there will be a problem- I'm reading every website that has the word luteal phase in it! But it's good to know that I can get an appointment easily if that day comes. I can say we've been trying for more than six months even if it's only been 4 months!
In the meantime I'm going to take an extra 50mg of B6 along with my prenatal until I O each month- I would take it the whole month but I don't know if that would be too much during the 2WW- I read B6 is good for the luteal phase.
Kara- the new job is pretty good, I can't complain! We should definitely have another GTG soon!
