Kinda Spinoff to Rach's post...does your toddler NEVER stop moving??

Megan NEVER STOPS MOVING!

It literally drives me insane. She has never been the type to sit down and cuddle, EVER! But the older she gets, the more she fidgets around. I thought it got better! I am just always chasing her. When I try to get her dressed, she rolls all over the place. When I try to change her, its like a wrestling match. She is constantly hurting me by either elbowing me, or climbing up on me with her sneakers..she just never sits!!!!!!!!!

I am trying to teach her to calm her body down..but she just laughs at me. She is so squirmy and just wants to run free all the time...and she is so adament about it that she ALWAYS winds up either falling or tripping just to get away.

Anyone elses kid like this???

Yeah.....Lily is a little squirmy one too! Recently, she's started sitting on my lap for about a minute at a time and I love it....but mostly, she's running, rolling, crawling around!

yes Antonio did...he was all cuddly and such a mush would sit in my arms and we would watch tv together..he would fall asleep on me...it was perfect when I was pregnant with #2...

but don't be jealous because Jorgia is the exact opposite...she is like a WORM...i feel like she is going to jump out of my arms...never cuddles constantly pushing my face out of the way so she can see what is going on! When I try to sit her in the high chair or stoller she stands...I have to fold her feet and trick into the seat

Today we were at the pool and she insisted on being throw in the air and dunked a million times. Two moms sitting there were whispering and pointing at us like we were crazy to "let her" do this! If they only knew

yes! Jacob is always squirmy! Even when I am holding him he always has to have a foot or a hand moving

At 16 mts old he will occasionally sit on my lap, but no... he is non stop!!!

Bella is NON-STOP! She's goes from one thing to the next and barely EVER sits and cuddles....unless we're in bed and Jack's Big Music Show is on (like she is doing with DH right now )

But other than that..CONSTANTLY on the move at ALL times

She's not really a squirmer when getting changed or having her diaper changed....it's every second otherwise

NEVER!!!!

He is always going, going except, thankfully he still takes a good long nap everyday, and sleeps real well!!!!

I keep Rj so busy with school, baby gym, the park, whatever it may be and yet he still refuses to chill out and watch TV.

My child will not play by himself, or lay on the couch and relax- its always go go go...

My daughter's first real words were GO GO GO - because she is always on the go. She never ever stops. Unless it's watching Barney or the Wonder Pets. She goes from one toy to another, run around the house, run from room to room - she never ever stops unless she's sleeping! It is exhausting!

Michael is 2 and is exactly the same. He is on the go from the time he gets up until the time he goes to sleep.

Steven never ever stops. But, he naps and sleeps pretty well.

That is the question EVERYONE asks us, everywhere we go - "does she ever stop?" And I always have to respond with, no, but it does mean she's a damn good sleeper at night! And mommy too I used to have insomnia and now, the second my head hits the pillow, I'm out!

Ryan is a very active and fidgety child and always has been. When he is going, he is running or jumping (never walking) he has so much energy it makes me dizzy and we are not the sit home kind of family. We are always going and doing so its not pent up energy, its just him I guess. He does however sit in his chair to watch Curious George before nap and before bed. He also likes to sit at the table and color or play with his trains or trucks and going for walks in the stroller. Once in a while he will sit on my lap and snuggle before bed. I thought he was really, really active until I read what some other posters had to say.......I guess he is somewhere in the middle.

lauren is non stop too! glad im not alone..once in a while she will sit on my lap and dirnk her cup or something for 2 mins if im lucky..other then that, she is non stop
