Kindergarten Moms or BTDT's
What do I need to label? I got a supply list for Em. i know to label her lunch box but what about stupid things like glue and scissors??

I haven't BTDT, but as a teacher, I'd say label everything you can. Scissors and glue aren't stupid when your child is the only one without them because you didn't label them and the sneaky brat next to her stole them Wow, that was harsh, but you knwo what I mean!

As a teacher, I would label everything. If the teacher decides to pool supplies, no harm done. Yet if she holds onto her own supplies, all can easily be misplaced/taken by someone else. Label everything...including jackets/backpacks/lunchboxes too.

awww...how are you feeling about Emma's first day of Kindergarten?
I met a little girl on Sunday when my mom was getting her hair cut in Riverhead and she is starting K tomorrow....she was SO excited! So adorable

I labelled everything - including scissors. This year I was hesitant to label tissue boxes, etc because they're community items but followed the instructions.

I labeled everything but the glue sticks - I thought they were pooled but now I think I will label it! ;)

Our list gave specifics on what to label- binder, folders, notebooks, supply box. Glue sticks(all 24 of them!) and such are pooled.
