Kindergarten Portfolios

Does anyone do this? If so, what kind of things do you put in them?

we kept writing portfolios for the kids, teacher made assessments each 5/9 wks for grading and then our dra lists/running records

depends on your school and what they're interested in.

I basically clean out their folders after every unit and take some pieces that show growth through the unit. If we do anything of interest during math, I will put that work in as well. When I do running records, I periodically put them in there...anything showing growth, basically..
