kit kat cake question
How many ozs of M&Ms do you need for the top?
I want to order personalized M&MS. I just need to figure out how many 7oz bags I need.

I plan on making this for Christmas eve and I bought the 12.5oz bag from Target. However I think its all about eye balling it, I doubt I would use the whole bag...I would buy 2 bags just to be on the safe side

I used one 12.5 oz bag and you definitely need the entire bag (I made the 9 inch round cake). In fact, I would have been happy with a few more.
So I would buy two of the 7 oz bags

I just made one this weekend with a 12.9 bag of Christmas (red & green) m&ms. It looked great
Other than the couple DS ate, I really used the whole bag. I was  at the amoutn of sugar!
