for those who updated their kitchens:
floors, take wallpaper off, new cabinets, counter tops
how long did the work take?

We gutted our kitchen and it took one month from start to finish.

i'm first doing it. we're not taking off wallpaper or doing floors and it's estimated at 2 weeks.

About 2 weeks. We gutted our entire kitchen (tiles, cabinets, countertop, backsplash, appliances) and put in new stuff.
Our workers were great.

Once the cabinets came in it was probably 3-4 weeks start to finish. The contractor was doing several jobs at once and there was the inevitable hiccup (one wrong sized cabinet).
Once the appliances are in you have to get the granite slab tagged, sized & cut which can take another week (if you're doing granite).
