Kitchen cabinet hinges?
What kind of hinges do you have on your kitchen cabinets? I'm so upset because we're updating the hardware and I didn't realize the old hinges were spring hinges and the one's I bought are not.  It took a very long time to put the hinges on and now I have to go back and return them for spring hinges??? WTH!!! Do you have to have spring hinges? With the new hinges, the doors don't close all the way.  What would you do? Thanks!

ok my DH said that there is an array of hinges and they have to work with the doors in the cabinets. IF the ones you got work and close then its ok if not you have to get the hinges that were on it so the cabinets close.

Oh, that's what I was afraid of!  These hinges weren't expensive, but not cheap either and I already threw out the bags they came in to return them. I'm so upset. I don't even know if they have hinges that fit that are spring hinges. I guess I'll have to go to Home Depot tomorrow. It's so frustrating. This kitchen is taking me soooo long to do. I'm never buying an older house again.

All I know is that the cabinet we have, the hinges are on the outside I hate that look. I like when they are inside the cabinet and not seen.

Our hinges are on the outside too! They do look much better on the inside.
