Kitchen Countertops

I'm looking to replace my kitchen countertop with an inexpensive one that will last me about 5 years. We're moving into a new house and we want something that will "get us by" until we re-do our kitchen. The current one is completely shot. Granite is totally out of the question.

Any suggestions on where to get one and (if you don't mind) how much did you pay. I'm figuring Home Depot or Lowes will be our best bet.

TIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chat Icon

Re: Kitchen Countertops

I'm not sure how to do it, but HD has stock formica that you can just buy (not order)

I think formica is a few hundred - depending on how big you need

Re: Kitchen Countertops

We special ordered a formica Countertop from Lowes and they did the cutout for the sink. It cost us $150 and my FIL and myself installed it. The hardest part was removing the sink.....Other than that it was a simple install.
