Is it worth getting? What's the difference between models?

110% worth getting! I have no idea about the different models but mine saves my life!
If you bake frequently, its an invaluable tool. Plus, it has so many attachments for the kitchen its very versatile!

Re: kitchenaid stand mixer
To be honest, I'm not much of a baker and I have no idea what to do with mine. It takes up too much space in the kitchen so I keep downstairs in the basement. I haul it upstairs maybe 2x/year.

Which attachments do you feel are most useful?

LOVE mine. It makes cookie dough so easily. I leave mine out all the time and it does inspire me to bake.
I have a slightly larger model which is good for big batches and easier to add ingredients, but they are all great and you really can't go wrong with any of them.

Re: kitchenaid stand mixer
love, love, love mine
right now, bc of my mother, it's in my basement
when it used to be on the counter i would use it 4-5 times a week
it just makes life easy
beating eggs, baking, shredding chicken, mashed potatoes, etc.
i don't even have attachments..they're on my "eventually" wish list-i'd love to have a grinder, food processor, and the ice cream attachment

You can do so much more than just bake. I love mine for mashed potatoes. I just leave it and go do something else while it is doing the work-lol.

LOOOOOOOOVE my Kitchen Aid. BEST money I ever spent on a kitchen appliance!!! I've had mine for about 10yrs now and it still works like a charm..........and I use it A LOT!! If you're someone who LOVES to cook and bake (as I do) it's absolutely worth the investment.

Re: kitchenaid stand mixer
I just got one for Xmas, I made meatballs in it, cheesecake twice and mashed cauliflower. I am hoping to do some pizza dough this week with it.
