knitted blankets? re washing?
can we wash them?
i've gotten 2 hand knitted blankets the baby but i want to wash them before she comes?
is it safe to wash them?

yes its fine. just keep it on a gente cycle you'll be fine. and dont place in dryer

Yep gentle cold cycle. I even put mine on a low dry in the dryer. They came out perfect. I got about 10 handmade blankets, all washed just fine.

Can you tell what kind of yarn was used? Acrylic yarn gets washed and dried like anything else. Thin baby weight yarn gets washed in cold water, gentle cycle, tumble dry low.

You can hand wash them to be on the safe side (especially if it's wool!) and lay flat to dry.
