Kudos to BRU for getting it done and helping me out...

Just had to share.
They got the job done and done right!

My husband’s uncle/aunt bought our glider/ottoman. They paid for it over the phone at the Westbury BRU. We mean to pick it up there, BUT unfortunately they only gave us 7days to do that and we are unavailable this weekend. So that left this week only and we had to find someone to help my hubby haul the chair upstairs. Sort of tight situation.

So I called Commack (I didn’t realize how close it was to me) and asked if we just can’t pick it up from them. They said no store to store transfer even though both had it in stock.

So I called Westbury and got the same story (mind you all yesterday their phones were out of whack). So I finally said “Ok, then consider our order returned, give me a store credit and I’ll go to Commack and buy it again”

So this means I have to drive from Huntington to Westbury to get a gift card type credit then drive to Commack and purchase the same items (I had them on hold over there)

Then to add insult to injury, Westbury says “Your name isn’t connected with this purchase, we can’t refund or release them to you” WHAT?!?!??!?!

I then had to get Jim’s Aunt to call in and clear that up.

FINALLY store managers are involved and they realize no matter what, I’m not picking up a heavy chair from Westbury this week and I am more than willing to drive all around the world to get what I want.

So Westbury’s evening manager thinks this is all stupid and calls up Commack to work out a plan of attack. Westbury ‘returned’ my chair and ottoman and took the store credit information and gave it to Commack who purchased the items off my registry (again). This way I never had to drive to Westbury.

All got taken care of and Commack is giving us 14days to pick up the chair.

Whew! It took me hours of off and on phone calls both at work and later on my cell phone and they worked to confirm our order, but with patience and cooperation, BRU came through.

Got my ottoman last night and hope to pick up the Glider by Sat of next week. Yeah!

That is great...BRU has been Fab with everything by us so far...when our dresser came cracked, they reordered it with no questions asked and got it in quickly...opened the new one for us before we left the store to let us inspect it!
