Jamie Lynn Spears & Fiancé Getting Ready for Baby
Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiancé Casey Aldridge are in full-on nesting mode.
The parents-to-be, who recently purchased their first home together in Liberty, Miss., are preparing for the imminent birth of their child, sources tell PEOPLE.
"They're very happy," says a source. "They're a fun little couple."
To get settled in their new home, Spears, 17, and Aldridge, 19, recently had furniture – including an elaborately carved four-poster king-size canopy bed, a leather recliner, and a leather sofa – delivered to the house.
Spears's mom, Lynne, is helping her daughter decorate the nursery, with the color scheme of pink, brown, and "silver-green," says an insider.
Spears, who is due to give birth soon, has been keeping a low profile as she readies the new house for her baby. The five-acre Liberty property is already equipped with a barn and studio, which was formerly used as a hair salon.
One new neighbor, who has already offered to babysit, says, "They're just a sweet little old couple."
Spears and Aldridge, who got engaged in March, plan to wed after the baby is born.

The five-acre Liberty property is already equipped with a barn and studio, which was formerly used as a hair salon.
Good thing they got the barn! That's such an important thing 1st time home buyers tend to overlook.

The pink, brown and silver green sounds ghastly. Any combo of 2 sounds fine but all 3 together, no so much.

Why are they engaged? OK I can understand the accidental pregnancy, I guess, but isn't 17 a little young to be engaged? Is she going to finsh HS? Is she going to college?

see, i'm all for marriage first and children second. that, to me, is the right thing
rushing into a marriage after an accidental pregnancy, to me, is not the right thing
edited to add: i'm not referring to grown adults who choose to have children outside of marriage. i respect the choice. this case involves two kids who i feel are being rushed into something just because of the pregnancy

yup and its going to hit them hard! he's only 19...i dont see him sitting at home playing house while the rest of his friends are out partying.
