I was offered 99.00 registration fee & 49.99 a month.. this was for the SINGLE membership... you can only use the gym you joined. I paid 149.00 for the elite membership b/c DH & I visit my brother in VA often and there is a gym by him. We like having the option of going to any gym we want.
I've only been a member for almost 2 weeks and I love it.
It's big and there is always a machine available. The daycare is huge and my son has a ball... Huge varitey of classes etc etc.
I really like the atmosphere. MUCH better than the membership I had with Ballys and worth the $ IMO.
I actually ENJOY going to the gym again.

I think the rates went up...only because I got the 149.00 and 49.99 rates...that was almost 2 yrs ago already.
You can go in and fight for them..I do know they went up. Im with the one in Farmingdale.

nope. that's their 'schtick' they say the rates are going up.
They offered my DH the same thing when he joined a year ago.
I joined 2 weeks ago and got the same rate
