Labs :)

Question, does anyone recall roughly how much their dog weighed at about three months? I cannot remember for the life of me if my labs were as big as the new puppy. Olaf I believe was but he is a boxy looking lab and extremely big boned. The puppy is somewhat boxed looking but sortof pointed too.
I do not know if anyone recalls but I was just curious-thanks!

Re: Labs :)

Sorry, I really don't! But I do think three months is way too soon to tell and anything could happen, since they grow at different rates.

Brinkley was 9 months when we got him and although Labs supposedly don't stop growing for 1-2 years, he was pretty much the same from 9 months on. He was overweight at 75 pounds. Healthy weight for him is 65.

Re: Labs :)

Ok so I'm actually slightly insane and wrote it down.

She was 8lbs at 8 weeks (when we got her) and 13lbs at 12 weeks. She's an american lab so is a bit more tall/lanky then the english breed. She's a year now and 60lbs give or take. She's been between 50-60 lbs since she was 9 months. She hasn't grown much since then. I think (fingers crossed) she's done growing now, but it may be too soon to tell.

ETA: I would say she's pretty tall, but on the thinner side at least compared to other labs.
