Lack of symptoms... help!
I'm just 6 weeks into this today. This is my first pregnancy so clearly i have no clue what i'm doing/ what's going on. Aside from being CRAZY moody, exhausted and some cramping, I've had no symptoms. Is it terrible that I almost wish i had morning sickness so I felt more convinced this was real?? Have any of you ladies felt this good? Or am i just jinxing myself and the icky symptoms are coming soon?
I just feel so nervous and scared. Especially since i haven't told anyone yet, i can't ask my fellow mommy friends. First appointment is 10 days away. I feel like I'm gonna be sweatin' until then!

Re: Lack of symptoms... help!
Symptoms can vary and don't mean a thing so stop worrying yourself. My nausea kicked in around 6.5 weeks and ended at 8 weeks so for me, it was short while some girls have it starting at week 5 and others have no MS. It's not an indicator of how pregnant you are. Enjoy these times! I think the most common 1st tri symptoms are exhaustion and cramping.

I cant tell you how much it helps to hear this. I'm praying all is well and I'm just lucky to have no MS. Thank you!

I had zero morning sickness. I'm 19 weeks now and still feel great minus sciatica... my advice enjoy it and don't read into it. Everyone reacts differently.

Re: Lack of symptoms... help!
For my first pregnancy, I had symptoms immediately, some implantation bleeding, sore boobs, morning sickness etc. for this pregnancy, my morning sickness started at 8 week, and lasted 2 weeks, but that was all as far symptoms.

Re: Lack of symptoms... help!
Don't wish morning sickness on yourself. Its not fun. There are some lucky people that never get it. I however got it around 7.5 weeks and threw up regularly until 15.
It sounds like your already having symptoms. Fatigue and cramping are pretty much the first signs i got and many others would probably say the same.
That's the fun of pregnancy. When you need the most support (or when you feel the worst) you can't tell anyone. You just have to wait for the first appt. Even now at 17 weeks I love appts that confirm baby is still in there doing well.

Lack of symptoms... help!
I had no morning sickness until about week 8, then it dissipated starting around week 14/15, and was gone by about week 18/20. I didn't have the sore boobs many of my friends had (one friend called them napalm boobs). I'm 34&1/2 weeks along.

Other than sore boobs and a crazy sense of smell I had no symptoms at all my whole pregnancy. Never got sick. Never felt tired. count your blessings.

Lack of symptoms... help!
I had zero symptoms for most of my pregnancy. Around 24 weeks, I got a belly and eventually I got heartburn.

Lack of symptoms... help!
I'm 14 weeks today. Other than the "typical" symptoms (being exhausted, sensitive breasts, my skin breaking out), I've had no symptoms. Never puked, no taste aversions. I read into the lack of things happening all the time -- you're not alone!

The only symptom I had was morning sickness really. And that started at 5 weeks, was daily until almost 20 weeks and now, at 29 weeks, is still a few times a week. Be thankful if you don't get morning sickness! lol

Hearing those words "youre not alone" makes me feel so much better. These early weeks of pregnancy are so isolating, especially when we haven't told any one. Knowing I'm feeling the same things as others makes me want to cry crazy pregnant lady tears of joy lol

Lack of symptoms... help!
I'm around the same point at you and this is my first as well and my first. appointment is next Thursday. The only symptoms I have are sore breasts. Otherwise I wouldn't even think I was pregnant. It scares the crap out of me that i have no symptoms especially since I miscarried at 6 weeks in April. I take random pregnancy tests to clear my mind. I know it's crazy and can get pricy but until I go to the dr, I'll be testing at least once a week. It's the only thing that puts my mind at ease.

Lack of symptoms... help!
My first pregnancy I had a little nausea, sensitive sense of smell, food aversions in the beginning. This time, I had nothing and it was great! Honestly, I think first pregnancies are surreal no matter what. It's shocking how long it can take to sink in that you're having a baby. I have 50 days on my countdown and I still have a hard time wrapping my brain around the fact that I'm pregnant right now.

Re: Lack of symptoms... help!
6 weeks is still really early. Your hormones are increasing, but are still relatively low. And hormones are what causes the symptoms. Some people don't ever feel symptoms, some feel them later, and it really varies. So just hang in there and enjoy feeling good!

Re: Lack of symptoms... help!
I've had two pregnancies and never had any noticeable symptoms, and especially not at 6 weeks. Light cramping is a good sign. Try to relax.

I wouldn't worry, I had zero symptoms with DS. The only thing I had with him was heartburn toward the end.

Re: Lack of symptoms... help!
I started getting "symtpoms" around 8 weeks. EVERYONE is different. Trust me I understand. I was worried why I wasn't puking at 6 weeks either. Be careful what you wish for...
Enjoy it! Congrats!!
