lactation consultant recommendation
a friend of mine just had a baby and her nipples are so sore. she thinks she may be doing it incorrectly. does anyone have any recommendations for a LC that would travel to queens?

Dr. Lauren Macaluso is an MD. She is in Great Neck so you may be able to travel to her. She also takes some insurance so you may not have to pay out of pocket.

I just used her and she is great. She takes most insurance, so you just end up paying whatever your co-pay for a specialist is. I don't think she will come to you, but her office is right on Northern in Great Neck.

I learned everything I know from these ladies! I had a bunch of issues and reading about other moms going through them helped me work them all (and I had a bunch!) Never even needed to see a consultant!

i also agree with above poster Donna from lakeshore. If it wasn't for her i wouldn't know that DS was tongue tied and I wouldn't be a successful Bf er
