Lactose Intolerant

I fear that this little bean has caused me to become lactose intolerant. Whenever I eat any kind of dairy, I get this sharp pain in the center of my stomach.

What can I do for this? I can't not have cheese and milk for the next 7 months. I know the calcium is so very important and cheese is SO VERY GOOD :)

Re: Lactose Intolerant

Maybe look into taking lactaid pills? My husband takes them for his lactose intolerance and they really help. Check with your doctor of course, but i think they'd be fine...Good luck and feel better!!

Re: Lactose Intolerant

I'm lactose intolerant and I take Lactaid pills for every bit of dairy I eat. My doc. said it's perfectly fine. I also drink Lactaid milk everyday and it has plenty of calcium.
Talk to your doc and definitely try it out! You'll feel SO much better!

Thanks girls!

I was just getting panicked becasue I've never had this before and being a first time pregger, any pain is nervewracking.

My OB said to get on the lactaid and I should feel better.
