Ladies, I need some support
I had a terrible weigh in today. Up 3 lbs.
And tomorrow and Sunday I have a 1st birthday party to go to.
The one tomorrow is my friend who owns 5 restaurants, so you know the food is going to be great (including 3 BBQ restaurants)- and I am so excited for the cake.
The one the next day will be middle eastern food- my favorite.
I am so afraid I will be out of control (like I usually am). Please give me some support!

You can do this! Eat before hand that way you can enjoy the food for its flavor & not because you're hungry.
Socialize away from the food.

Like Barb said, anytime I know I have an event coming up, I eat a very healthy meal at home just before. That way, I can still "taste" the delicacies at the party, but I'm not so hungry that it's a contest to see how much I can wolf down into my belly.
You can do it - and remember, the scale isn't always the most accurate guage - it can fluctuate SO much just depending on how much water you've had. The telltale sign is how you FEEL and how your clothes are fitting

Actually, we're going to a Halloween party tomorrow, and I'm going to make sure to eat beforehand, even if it is just a lean cuisine. I figure then I'll have a treat or two, but I won't go crazy.

Thanks for the support. I made myself a veggie stirfry before I went- only about 2 points! They happened to have a lot of meat on the bone (which I don't like), so I really only splurged on a piece of cake- which was SO yummy!!
Tomorrow's birthday party should have healthier options- lots of salads and middle eastern food.

shelly do you ever drink the weight watchers smoothie shakes? I often drink one before we go out to eat. They really help me control myself since I am not as hungry.

stay focused! Make sure you eat something healthy to fill up on before you get there.
Also - I find that if there is a certain food there that is my weakness - I need to stay from it and not allow myself even 1!!
Like munchkins - llooooove them - i cannot have 1 - not even 1! Or else I wil not stop
