Ladies, if you ever want a nice ego boost...
Go to Lowe's on a Friday night straight from work wearing a skirt to pick up electrical and plumbing supplies. 
I think I was asked if I needed help 8 times by different male employees.
That's what DH gets for sending me to do his dirty work!
 
ETA: Maybe they just thought I was clueless, but either way, I'll take it...

The last time I was in there, a plumber was explaining how to apply cement to a pipe and said "Or you could ask for help, I'm sure someone with your looks has plenty of men around to help." I actually laughed, too loudly, because I was sure he was joking. He looked a little hurt, I blushed, and he continued explaining how to apply cement to a pipe.
