Ladies, really need your help/opinions..
I really need your help and opinions…
On March 12th (Monday) I had a saline sonogram and sounding of my uterus done at my RE office. Everything went well….The procedure didn’t bother me at all and I didn’t have any cramping or bleeding (spotting) after it. I ovulated on either Saturday or Sunday (the RE confirmed seeing my egg being “cooked” and told me I will ovulate by the weekend), it was CD11 when he saw me...
Now, onto my concerns…at 7DPO I had AF like cramping that lasted about 2 days, I thought AF was coming early (I have a very regular 28 day cycle). At 8DPO I noticed spotting…it was only when I wiped (sorry TMI)..it was brown & pink…then on Monday (9DPO) it was enough that I needed a panty liner…still brown & pink…it stopped yesterday 10DPO (it was all clean even when I wiped) and now today at 11DPO, came back again, very little but there…I am not scheduled to get AF until Saturday and I am being concerned about the spotting…I never spot during my cycle…so why now??
Do you think the RE ruptured something with the sono inside of my uterus?? But why would I spot 20 days later and not right after it?? We also BD before O and I didn’t see any spotting then and I didn't have any pain either..it all started at 7DPO…
I am just nervous something might be wrong…..did any of you experience this after having the sono & the sounding done??
Any help would be appreciated…

Might be implantation bleeding??? If you're going to get any it usually happens 7-10DPO.

Honestly in all of my pregnancies the few before my son and the last four miscarriages I never noticed implantation bledding. But this pregnancy I had it at 7dpo-9dpo so I hope that is what it is for you too! But I'd suggest calling your Doc and inquiring about it..
Good Luck!

we are dealing with severe MF isuess..all the numbers are low..DH had varicoceloctomy done 2/8 (to improve things) and has been on Clomid for the past 5 months...
The doctors said it will take at least 6 months for his numbers to go up and if not we will do IVF in September....

Sometimes I get mid-cycle bleeding. It's light and pinkish. Mention it to your RE. Good luck

Re: Ladies, really need your help/opinions..
Has he had another analysis done recently? I'm not trying to falsely get your hopes up or anything, but it could be possible that you did get PG...especially since the HSG tends to make things more slippery in there and there are reports of people getting PG after an HSG.

Re: Ladies, really need your help/opinions..
I know sometimes it's hard to believe that miracles can happen to us but it really does sound like implantation bleeding. One of my co-workers and her DH suffer from MF IF and she got PG the month after her HSG...her DH did not do the surgery.

Re: Ladies, really need your help/opinions..
I get a lot of spotting about a week after O. I spoke to the RE about it and so far they have not been concerned. As far as the sono having anything to do with it, I would say it probably isn't related. Best case would be implatation!! Good Luck!!

Ladies thank you so much for the hope and for the well wishes!!!
Gertyrae-DH is scheduled for another SA in May (it will be 3 months after the surgery), he is also going for blood tests next month to check on his hormones since he has been on Clomid for the past 5 months...I also heard stories that woman got pregnant after the HSG...I guess it opens up everything and make the path for the swimmers easier...but since we are dealing with very low numbers my RE (I am at Cornell) said it will take at least 6 months ...
I must admit...I tested last night (with a $1 test) and got a very, very very faith line which showed up after 10 minutes so it was most likely an evaporation line....now I will just wait for AF to show up her ugly face on Saturday.......
Thank you again!!
