Ladies who are nearing the end...I'm starting to get paranoid
Is anyone near the end starting to get paranoid about the baby being healthy? I'm over the paranoia about the pain of labor and delivery, now all I can think about is the baby going to come out okay, what if she has the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck, how would I know if there is a knot in the umbilical cord...mostly things about the umbilical cord!
I almost want to talk to my doctor on Monday and be like, please induce me, I can't take the worrying anymore!
Anyone else feeling this way? I'm just scared that something is going to happen to her in there and I won't know.

Im more paranoid that I am in labor and don't know it!! Or that I am leaking fluid, having contractions etc... Just relax, think positive, everything will be OK :) U dont want to stress and u dont want ur baby to be stressed!!

I'm more worried about the same same things too!!!
Plus, I feel like everything is done, yet it's not... I feel like I'm forgetting everything...

I'm paranoid about the same things. And i have already talked to my dr about it. Almost every visit.
I have been told that there is no way they can tell if the umbilical cord is around the neck or if there is a knot in it. Also that can happen during delivery. It can happen whether or not they induce you or you go naturally.
On the brighter side. I went through that situation with my DD 8 years ago. I was induced at 38 weeks and she was born with a true knot in her cord and the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck 3 times. I do have to say that even though her apgar was 3 when she was born and she was blud her apgar went up to 9 and she is a perfectly healthy 8 year old now. While it was scary at the time and thinking about it now. The dr's are trained to deal with situations like this.

I'm a little nervous about what if the baby comes early and there are complications etc...
I never felt this way till now, so I'm guessing as I get closer I'm gonna get a little paranoid...it seems like its perfectly normal to feel this way, I mean its a huge event and the first time for a lot of us, right?
