I got the book from the library, but someone who had the CD burnt it for me. It was just various sounds and I have yet to even use it.

No...we run a humidifier or we turn on his radio that has nature sounds and we use the water sound. You could also tune a radio to a blank station and just play the static. We've done that too.

No. I did not get the cd. I use a hepa filter which has the white noise sound.

No, we used the air conditioner in her room during the summer for white noise. And in the winter a white noise machine.

we used a slumber bear with our dd, that plays a sound of a heartbeat.
