I've read them all!
Honestly, I think I learned the most from Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child. But, I do take things from each book I read.

I read the No cry sleep solution and secrets of the baby whisperer. I take a combo of both and what works for DD. We won't do CIO or Ferber.

Re: which baby sleep book do you recommend?
I just got Healthy sleep habits, happy child. So far, I feel it is not a solution I am really comfortable with doing. I can't leave my child to CIO for an hour. I think there is good infor mation in it and it has helped a lot of people, but the actual method isn't fo me.
Happiest Baby, if I remember correctly, is really more about calming a fussy baby. Not a "sleep solution" book like the others.

I recommend Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child to every new mom I know. Within a week of reading it my DS was taking naps and started sleeping through the night. Also according to the book, you DON'T have to let your child CIO at all if you don't want to.

Re: which baby sleep book do you recommend?
My SIL bought Healthy Sleep Habits book for me & swore by it. My nieces have slept from 7pm-6am since they were peanuts (they are now 3 & 2). The book has so much valuable info in it & its broken down by age & by particular issues; I really learned a lot.
