Ladies who have made Photobooks, how many hours do you put into them?
I have put at least 24 hrs + in this photobook. Am I just a slow worker? It takes forever!
I have made them in the past, but more for a single event or a short amount of time.
This is for a whole year!

yea when i make mine it's usually about a week. you have to go through all the pics and figure out which ones you want bigger or smaller and where to put them. it takes a while! hang in there! when you're done, you'll love it!

It took me forever. I made 3 different photobooks and 2 different photo calendars.
It was exhausting - I found it worse than going to the mall on a weekend during the holiday season (which I am not a fan of).
ETA - I had a free photobook and all of these other offers so I felt like I was under the gun the whole time!

We've made a bunch of them and now it has gotten alot easier and faster.
What's worked for us is making a folder on the desk top so when we have an absolut love picture, we throw it in there. So when we're ready to make the books for the holidays we already have a starting point. And its alot easier to upload them from one folder than many different ones.
I just made a calendar the other day and that took about 2 hours. My DH made the halloween book and I think that took him about 3-4 hours.
Are you doing it for a speical occassion like holiday or just a compilation of pictures throughout the year(s)?

I probably work on it for 2-3 hrs a day for a week or 2.
I do it slowly and go back and edit every night.

I am dreading doing a 1st year photobook for DS because I KNOW it's going to take FOREVER.
It took me a week of working after DS went to bed just to finalize my Christmas card design! And that's for one card, I can't imagine doing his first year book! 
I also want to do a few calendars for gifts this year and I'm dreading that too, lol.
