Ladies who have taken Clomid and became pregnant- question for you

What was the dosage amount you took when you finally became pregnant, and how many cycles did it take?

Bc I had no reaction to the 100mg, my RE wants to bump me up to 200. Part of me is thinking I may overstimulate and he said if there are more than 3 mature follicles he isn't comfortable going ahead with the IUI. But I can't help but be excited that this may do the trick! Just looking for some feedback. Thanks

I did 3 unmonitored cycles with my OBGYN so I don't actually know if I was "responding", but anyway I did 50 mg to start, then 100 mg for 2 cycles. Then I switched over to an RE. I did one cycle of 100 mg and I did not have any mature follies by CD15 so I started taking 200 mg right away for 3 more days (which may or not have been my mistake in misunderstanding the instructions), but I ended up with 2 mature follies by CD22. I had b2b IUIs on CD24-25 and I am now 10 wk pregnant.

I got pregnant on my 3rd IUI but first medicated cycle. I took 50mg.

ETA: I had 5 mature follicles that cycle.. Only got pregnant with one baby!

I got pregnant with twins on second cycle of 50 mg. it was ultimately an unsuccessful pregnancy.

I started again last month on 100 mg, and this month upped it to 150 mg. my doctor will not go any higher than 150.

My first pregnancy, I took 50 mg and got pregnant first time... For my second child, I took 50 mg three times and it worked the 3rd time... Good luck!

if you had no response on 100 i wouldnt worry about hyperstimulating from 200. its not that common to hyperstimulate from clomid alone. i hyperstimulated on injectables and i had to cancel a cycle because of it. personally i would just move on to injectables and skip 200mg of clomid altogether since you didnt respond to 100, but thats just me. good luck.

Somewhere between 150-200 mg..I don't remember but I do remember the hot flashes...LOL

I started on 100mg anf go pregnant our 1st cycle. We did b2b IUI's. I had 3 mature follicles; conceived 1 healthy child. When discussing TTC #2, the RE was going to start me on only 50mg but it didn't come to that.

Both of my pregnancies our successful tries were on 150 mg. Both pregnancies were twin pregnancies.

The first one, I had a vanishing twin, so resulted in the birth of one child. My current pregnancy has two healthy babies growing.

Of course all the previous tries on Clomid, I only had one follie..guess I was just meant to have twins.

Each time, the third true attempt at IUI/Clomid worked.

I got pregnant twice with clomid/trigger/iui on 50mg. Unfortunately, the 2nd time (this past dec.) I miscarried. It worked the first cycle both times for me and I only had one leading follicle each time.

I was nervous about it all or how long it will take and this made me feel more relaxed.
