Ladies who know the city - I need transportation help
Hey ladies...
MY FIL is having open heart surgery Monday (please for him) and we are going to stay at the Courtyard Marriot on E 92nd Street.
I am very unsure what to do after we get into Penn... what subway(s) to take... can anyone help?
TIA!

Re: Ladies who know the city - I need transportation help
Get on the 1/2/3 or A/C/E and take it uptown to 42nd St/Times Square, (1 stop). Then transfer to the N/W/R uptown to Lex/59th St. Transfer to the 4/5 uptown and get off at 86th St. Then just walk up to 92nd.
Or you can take the 1/2/3 or A/C/E to 42nd St/Times Square and take the S or 7 to Grand Central and get on the 4/5 there uptown to 86th.
Or, you can just hop in a cab at Penn.
ETA: Cause I messed up.

I live in the city, and I think this is the best thing to do.

If you take this route get on at the back of the train.

Sorry - I should have added. Get on the back of the E. The escalator that will take you to where you need to transfer to the 6 is right there if you take the last car.

Re: Ladies who know the city - I need transportation help
Here is a good web site in the future for public transportation routes:
www.hopstop.com
We use it at work all the time.
