I made the labor inducing eggplant when I was preggo with my firstborn. I put it in the oven to cook and my water broke while i was taking a shower. 6 years ago today (he was born 1:50am on 10/21)

I still have the recipe around if you want me to find it. It's yummy too

Nothing worked with DD Chat Icon She was 5 days late.
I thought I would be more mellow about it this time around knowing it happens when it happens but I am SO ready and still have 5 weeks to go. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

My son was 3 days late. I worked out religiously until I went into labor. The morning I went into labor I went on a 4 mile walk all over my town. I would say that had something to do with it but I was already 3 days late so it was going to happen sooner or later.

I was antsy too but try not to rush it. Being pregnant is such a wonderful time!

I used Castor Oil this time around, and it worked. BUT-I was already 3 cm dilated and 50% effaced when I took it. Plus you have to be very careful to drink enough water when you take it because the diarrhea can cause you to dehydrate.

40 weeks. I tried it all, eggplant, spicy food, exercise, raking leaves (no sex though)! Nothing worked, he did not want to come out. He was born close to 41 weeks with an induction.

I didn't 'try'. I ate crazy spicy food throughout my PG and enjoyed sex too! Chat Icon He came at 38 weeks, but the doctors pretty much took him out for medical reasons. I never tried the eggplant though.

I tried pretty much everything but the castor oil. I walked, did the nasty, ate spicy foods, and tried nipple stimulation. Nothing worked. I started my induction when I was 6 days late and that didn't work the first round! Chat Icon After the second round of induction, DS finall came when I was 8 days late.
