What are you ladies using for labor bags?
I feel like I have a ton of stuff to bring, and the only thing we have to foot the bill is this ugly old duffle bag... I mean, I know labor is hardly the time to be a diva, but still...
what are you ladies using for your labor bags?

Re: What are you ladies using for labor bags?
I brough a small duffle bag. I brought 6 pairs of undies ( and I washed a few while I was their 2 days and needed to throw 2 out), night gown, going home outfit for baby and me, travel size toiletries and that was it. If I needed something I knew a family member or DH could bring it to me.

Re: What are you ladies using for labor bags?
My smallest piece of rolling luggage. It wasn't full to capacity. I came home with more than I went with, so there was room for additional stuff.

Re: What are you ladies using for labor bags?
I'm only bringing enough for a day or two. If I need more DH can bring it from home next time he comes. I also got travel sizes of toiletries, etc.
Now, my double diaper bag that thing is huge.

Re: What are you ladies using for labor bags?
I bought a weekender bag from Avon, believe it or not. It has lots of pockets on the outside so it will be nice & organized for DH if the hospital needs info & such.

Re: What are you ladies using for labor bags?
I had two bags. A large tote for things to use during labor (ipod, book, registration/insurance sheets, snacks for DH) and a duffle for things to have after delivery (clothes, toiletries, baby clothes/blanket).
DH brought the tote home with him the first night after our baby was born. I had a shared room and didn't want a lot of stuff out.

Re: What are you ladies using for labor bags?
I would expect to take a Vera Bradley duffle. I was in hospitalized once and the bright colors on my bag kept me cheery.

Re: What are you ladies using for labor bags?
It seems like my robe filled up more then half of my smallest suitcase. I look like I totally overpacked, even though I didnt!

Re: What are you ladies using for labor bags?
I never heard of a labor bag...
I'll use a carry on or duffle to take to the hospital I guess. Haven't really thought about it.

Re: What are you ladies using for labor bags?
Probably my suitcase. I don't really care, just as long as it holds all my crap

Re: What are you ladies using for labor bags?
I used a backpack, and didn't need most of the stuff in there.
I was in and out in less than 48 hours though, so I didn't need much. (I did have a lot of labor "stuff" - cd palyer, balance ball, etc, but Al took that stuff home after the delivery)

Small duffle bag I guess.
I haven't really thought about it.
Since we live less than 5 minutes away from the hospital I'll only take enough for a day or two and have DH get more if I need it.

I used a suitcase and a backpack. I think I will definitely downsize when we have another.

What do you mean? You never heard of packing a bag for the hospital for when you go into labor? I feel thats all I've heard about since my BFP! People post threads all the time about what to pack on here too that I've bookmarked!

Re: What are you ladies using for labor bags?
I just used a gym bag.. i basiclly brought some comfy PJ's a robe and really used the underwear that they gave you.. they were the most comfy.. do not bring your best stuff if you do not want it to get ruined. This time around.. comfy Black sweatpants and solid tee shirts...and really comfy slippers.. did not take mine for e atrial run last time and they were not that great...

I've always heard it called a hospital bag.
I mean, I knew what you were talking about, but for some reason the term "labor bag" sounds to me.
I don't know why!!
