ladies with PCOS- OPKs (x-post from TTC)
I use the ones from the internet that are cheap, and I wanted to invest in a good digital one that is easier to read. Unfortunately, it says right on the website that they are not for use by women with PCOS.
Do any of you use them, and do they work?

I invested in the CBEFM, and it did not work for me. It was giving me false positives.

OPK's and CBEFM are unreliable for women with PCOS. Are you planning on seeing a RE for treatment?

I invested in one as well and HATE it. I gave it months of spending on sticks for it every month and it NEVER worked right... IMO it was a waste of $$$.

Re: ladies with PCOS- OPKs (x-post from TTC)
wow- very good to know. Thanks for the advice girls.
The cheap internet opk's worked for me once- when I got pregnant (i miscarried) and they've been difficult ever since. I can never tell if it's positive or not, and when it's very obvious it is- it stays positive for days at a time.
Yes, I am seeing an RE for my first appointment on Monday night. I went to East Coast Fertility, and wasn't comfortable there, so I will be going to Dr. Keningsberg to see how he is.

Don't waste your money on OPKs. They can give false positives for women with PCOS. Your RE will monitor you for ovulation.
