DH did this once... strolled in at 5 45 AM... I told him that he needed to be home no later than 2 30 AM since we were having brunch with both our families the next morning-- we had just gotten engaged but it was his best freind's birthday and they always have late nights. He promised me he'd be home-- and I woke up at like 3 45 and he still wasn't home. I was sooooooo pizzed. Then as it got later and later-- I got even more mad, and more worried. Turns out he was downstairs in our friends apt hanging out--- I swear I could have killed him. Men are just seriously stupid.

This happened to me once too. DH worked so late, and I woke up at 1 am, and he wasnt in bed. I was calling his shop, cell phone, etc, and nothing. I went downstairs, turns out he got undressed in the spare bedroom, layed down just for 2 seconds, and fell asleep.

Michele, hope everything is ok! 
unfortunately, I deal with this, DH is in narcotics with crazy hrs so I dont sleep next to him and well, it can drive you nuts and its scary!
If hes ok, then I hope u beat him with a stick!
