Lake George Recommendations?
We would like to do a week in Lake George this July with a toddler.
Could you please recommend lodging, restaurants and attractions?

We stay at the Blue Lagoon every year. It's cabins though. Not sure if you were looking for more of a hotel.

Re: Lake George Recommendations?
We have a time share there at "The Lodges at Crestahaven". I think to rent it might be a bit pricey, but you have a whole house instead of just a room...I love it...I've been going to Lake George every year since I was born...
As for restaurants here are a few that we really like:
The Boathouse (at Cresthaven) Sutton's (LOVE this place. It's in Queensbury, but it's just a few mins south of Lake George. Great breakfasts and lunches) Log Jam George's The Grist Mill (although it might not be the best place to go with a toddler) Grandma's (doesn't look like much, but the food is good if you want something that is like home cooking) The Algonquin is good too...I like it better for lunch than dinner
Martha's is great for Ice Cream, as is Hillbilly Golf - fantastic mini golf but it's a little bit off the beaten path (but I could get you there easily).
I'm drawing a blank right now on other places but I will keep thinking!

I think it depends on what you want to do. If you want to be within walking distance to the village, then staying right there (somwhere around Canada Street) is probably best. If you would rather be a little bit away from there, but still within a 5 min drive, you can stay closer to Diamond Point or Bolton Landing.
Where we stay is towards Diamond Point, but is still right on Lake George. I love being a bit out of the village.

Ideally we'd like to be on the water at a resort with a pool.
